This is a film about the “wound” Georgi Markov, about his long and painful coming back in the country that killed him... But this film is about the disability and death of the spirit and the feather of freedom. It's a portrait of a writer, who is alive through his works, engraved in his closest friends and followers' hearts and memories. It's a late meeting with the unknown Georgi Markov and his authentic voice, reading his shocking essays on Deutsche Welle radio. Four decades after his murder we hear his sharp words: “I'll try to tell you all this, because one day someone may need may testimony.” Today his testimony is more necessary than ever, because now he is back to his Bulgaria.
