BULGARIAN BATTLE MARCHES / БОЙНИТЕ МАРШОВЕ НА БЪЛГАРИЯ

These are the songs of the Bulgarian Renaissance, a symbol of the national self-consciousness and the Bulgarian national revolution. These marches have been sung by hundreds of thousands of Bulgarians in times of revolts, rebellions and resistance movements under the Ottoman occupation. They have sounded at moments of attack by the victorious Bulgarian troops at the five wars that took place during the Third Bulgarian Kingdom in the last century. These marches have also greeted the survived heroes welcoming them back home, when arriving at the crowded squares. The songs will touch deeply any Bulgarian soul anywhere around the world. This is an exciting story that carries us through old photos, archives and memories of the past centuries, rich of marches’ music, performed by the best Bulgarian army orchestras.
